The Ste. Marie Schola Cantorum
Singing is the heart’s joy (cf. Acts 2:46), and through this act does the Christain faithful participate in cultivating, strengthening and deepening their edification of God's word and the Pascal Sacrific.
The Ste. Marie Schola Cantorum (meaning school of singers; SATB) ministers to God’s people with sacred music in the form of Gregorian Chant and sacred polyphony offered at the 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. Sunday masses, solemnities, holy feast days, and other liturgical events.
The Ste. Marie Schola Cantorum also contains three additional ensembles that offer music on a regular basis: St. Gregory Men’s Schola, St. Cecilia Youth Schola (children 3rd grade and up), and the Chorus Angelorum (children from kindergarten to 2nd grade).
